May the year bring you those healthy sabino foals you are waiting for. Here at the Registry we want to make 2009 a year to shine. 2007/2008 were difficult years with personal events that have not enabled me to be full-time at this registry or the office to be in running order at all. Also, there has been some struggling within the registry as to it's future and where it is going. With growth in membership and registration, the registry itself needs to grow behind the scenes as well.In the past there has seemed to be the members and registrations but participation in programs and newsletters has been scarce. The newsletter was designed with the member in mind. There were lots of free areas to take advantage of, foal announcements, photo gallery, show brags,ect. But with little or no participation we can not continue the newsletter in print as it is. There are thoughts of having an online newsletter only. Also, this is a huge organization already and the amount of work that it takes to run is a full time job. At this time I am not able to work at it full time. In that case volunteers are needed to run programs and delegate some responsibility to. If there is anyone who is seriously interested in working with SAHR please contact us. We are looking for dedicated people to volunteer. This has been a labor of love for me and I wish it to grow and prosper into the future.I want to take the time to apologize to those of you who have been trying to contact SAHR over the past year or so and have not gotten the response you are looking for. A new office has been set up and the paperwork and emails are being waded through. Patience is appreciated in this matter and all requests will be honored.Sincerely,Amber Skimepresident
